Healthy Feet and the Art of Foot Care – Why does it matter?

Presented by Sheree Busher R.N.

   

Sheree Busher R.N. started her nursing career as an LPN in 1979, since that time she has worked in hospitals ranging from general med surg., post op, gynecology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and psychiatry. She has also worked in nursing homes, rehab and hospice centers. In 1989 she obtained a Bachelors degree in education and worked as a teacher in the Denver Public Schools system teaching grades K-12.

     In 2000 she graduated as an R.N. and went directly into home care management and began to see the great need for in home foot care. She received additional training through the foot care dept. of Kaiser and embarked upon the business of foot care. Since 2004 her business has grown to well over 1,200 clients in the Denver Metro area. She is contracted with Total Long Term Care and serves over 35 facilities as well as three TLC centers. She has trained nurses that work with her, and has volunteered with 9 news Health Fair to serve the needs of the community.
