CALA is proud to offer our second Dementia Training Session this March — designed to meet state requirements and strengthen the quality of care for residents living with dementia.
Dates: March 24 & 25, with an optional third session on March 26 Time: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM (MT)
4 hours are required for all direct care staff
6 hours are required for direct care staff working in Secure Dementia Units
This comprehensive course will be led by Sherrie Bonham, a Certified Teepa Snow Trainer and respected industry expert in Dementia Care. Sherrie brings more than 10 years of hands-on experience managing Secure Dementia Care Homes and training assisted living teams throughout Colorado.
This course meets all topics required for regulatory compliance, including:
Dementia diseases and related disabilities
Person-centered care for residents with dementia
Care planning for residents with dementia
Activities of daily living for residents with dementia
This is a valuable opportunity to get your staff the training they need, fulfill state requirements, and elevate dementia care in your community.
